The farmer on on Riley's farm has a long and storied Irish heritage. His last name O'Reilly is actually an English translation of the Irish Gaelic & Oacute "Raghallaigh," the surname for the royal family of the Kingdom of Connacht in Northeastern Ireland. This farming family emigrated from Ireland to the state of Idaho in the United States during the great Irish famine in 1850. Riley's farm grows potatoes (fittingly) and has hens, Riley the Rooster, and of course, eggs!
